The city of Denver says it has a world-class arts scene, but lacks world-wide recognition.
To change that, and to guide development of the arts in Denver in the future, officials are putting together a new plan and seeking suggestions from the public.
The last time the city tried to revamp its arts and culture offerings on this scale was 1989. CPR Arts Editor Chloe Veltman spoke with Kent Rice, Executive Director of Denver Arts & Venues, about the city's strategy for cultural success.
